Catalin is a passionate advocate for gluten-free living and the founder of The Celiac in Italy. A 20-something American expat thriving in Florence, Catalin was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2016. Since then, she has dedicated herself to helping others navigate the challenges of traveling with celiac disease.
Through The Celiac in Italy, Catalin has helped countless celiac travelers plan unforgettable, gluten-free adventures across Italy. Now, with the launch of Celiacs in Europe, she’s expanding that mission to include destinations all across Europe. Catalin is leading a team of experts in different countries to provide personalized travel consultations, ensuring that gluten-free travelers can explore Europe safely and with confidence.
Soon, travelers will be able to enjoy authentic, worry-free experiences in countries like Spain, England, France, Portugal, Greece, and beyond—guided by local experts who understand both the local cultures and the intricacies of gluten-free dining.
